• Growing up in Oakland, CA I attended the San Leandro Boys Club which taught me Pride, Respect, Leadership, along with technical, wood and plastic training skills. These skills were carried over to my adulthood.
  
  
• 1996 I started a family with my wife (Lynda).  We have 3 beautiful children, Shannel, Eric Jr., and Shaelyn.  We believe in putting God first in our lives, which gives us the wisdom and strength to stay focused on what is important in our lives.  Being committed to my God, family, and working the youth gives me the joy of seeing lives positively changed and helping them become the best they can be as responsible and successful young adults. 
  
  
• My wife, Lynda, and I were inspired together by each other to help all youth who need us the most.  We started our venture with a small computer business that sold and repaired computers.  In 2000, we created UNEED2 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. UNEED2 focuses on the needs of youth to help them stay positive and productive through our organization. We then decided that it would be a great idea to offer youth computer training to the City of Tracy.  Currently UNEED2 has become a passion of ours to give youth in the community something that would allow them to learn a trade and professional skills. This program has been successful through the support of Lynda, Parents, Pastor and my children.
  
  
• Uneed2, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides computer training, computer support, and computers to economically challenged individuals and nonprofit organizations, as well as Job Search and Independent Living Skills Training & Development. Uneed2, Inc. strives to elevate the marketability and self-esteem of these individuals who complete the computer-training program and actively seek employment.​​

Marcia Kirk, Board Member

Marcia Kirk is The Founder of The Ruby Project Foundation that helps survivors of childhood abuse.  She has served in the Information Technical space as IT Leader for 20+ years. She is the wife of Pastor Ivan Kirk of Good Shepherd Community Church of Tracy serving for 16+ years to date. Together they have a growing family of six sons, daughter-in-loves, and five grandchildren.  Marcia has transitioned her career to volunteer and serve within the non-profit space that allows her the joy and flexibility to be of service with her life adjustments.
